I have been meaning to post some of our photos from Boston but it just didn't seem right to post happy pictures, when a lot of people were suffering and the whole town was in upheaval. So I decided to go ahead and show some highlights, because we did have a great time.. There is no place like Boston!

Here is me, explaining the above photo to Abby.  The last mile and a half is the same route as the marathon, I kept saying... this is the route your daddy and all the other runners will be running tomorrow!

Winners..

Catina and I drove to Raleigh to run today ..She ran the 5k and I ran the half marathon ...we both finished 1st in our age group!! How about that ! And we got gift cards to New Balance to spend on running gear! A win..win situation!

Making the most of a sunny day...

While we didn't go anywhere fancy for Spring Break, we enjoyed our time at home and waited for spring to show up.  Right about the time spring break was coming to an end....here came the sun.. All good things come to those who wait....


So.. we took a little trip down the road to Muddy Creek and had lunch with some good friends...Abby and Parker took to the exploring route...

Alston...well he was content to sit and read his book.

So when trying to get a cooperative subject for your photography class, you do whatever you can to bribe them.. and then when bribing fails.. you let then act silly.

I was trying to get Abby to smile a few last times in the car. I like that the lighting was hitting her face, but the sun was setting, so the sun was just a glow... NO HARSH LIGHT!!






Needless to say, she was tired, so I said, Close your Eyes....

A Time To Reflect...

Here are a few photos from the past weekend. My Uncles and Aunt were in town for my sister's service. They had a great time with Abby and the dogs. We spent Saturday watching the ACC tournament and throwing the ball to Toby, then went out to Diamond Back Grille for dinner.
