2011 Recap

I swear, I do not know where the time goes. Here it is the middle of January and I promised myself, I would write more and keep up to date with one my favorite things, my blog. This poor little excuse for a blog, needs some tender-loving care. All of my other friends blogs are visited often and are given TLC most every week if not daily.
Alright, enough sulking, on with it.....a recap of 2011 is in order. Since I am so behind on my scrapbooks, I could maybe use this as my push to digital memories.
So without further ado.....

We had a lot of fun fostering puppies around the holidays and into the new year until....

This sweet little one came into our lives and we had to keep him. Toby who he would be named weeks later has added joy, laughter and fun to our lives since February.

We had a blast in Boston and besides running, we managed to spend some time touring the city!

And of course these two super athletes rocked the marathon...

 While Elizabeth and I got treated like Rock Stars and only had to run a 5k!

This sweet little hippie completed 3rd grade and is growing up way too fast!

We had a great time with the Melangs in Ocean City and Beaufort!

 Actually a lot more fun than these faces show!!

 July was full of festivities and relaxing at the beach!

All good summers must come to an end, but fall brings school,a 10th birthday, football, and the Tarheels!

And who can forget the Ramblin Rose! Of course, I was in some sick state and only remember this through pictures!

We had more fall fun with the Fair( our annual tradition with the Melangs)  and a  snowy trip to see the Wizard of OZ!

The pumpkin patch and Halloween rounded out our October. The Vet, with her patient, patient..

We ended the year with a little running, a lot of family and some fur! Not a bad 2011! Looking forward to 2012 and all the ups, downs and excitement a new year can bring!

Happy 11-11-11!! aka. Toby's Birthday..and a late Happy Birthday to Charlie!

This wonderful day has been set aside to honor the people who make the ultimate sacrifice. These people keep us safe and allow us to live in a great place!

Today is also the day we decided to make Toby's, our latest addition to the Glazener family, birthday. We are not sure of his exact happy day, as he lived in a less that wonderful home, but since we made Charlie's Birthday on 10-10 ( The day he became a Glazener),  we went with the obvious and easy to remember day!
